F1 drivers race in reverse

Formula 1 drivers are talented at driving fast forwards but the video below shows whether they are any good at racing a car in reverse.
Red Bull decided to test the skills of Max Verstappen and Yuki Tsunoda by putting them behind the wheel of two DAF Variomatic cars.
The vehicles are capable of going at 120kph backwards and presented quite a different challenge to the F1 pair ahead of the Dutch Grand Prix in 2022.
They had to tackle a narrow, coned-off passage on the straight, and negotiate a tricky chicane and a roundabout as part of the fun before going head-to-head in a race.
“I’d seen a few videos of reverse racing on YouTube before, but I never thought I’d be doing it myself,” says Verstappen, the reigning F1 champion.
“These cars are able to hit a top speed of 75mph [120kph] in reverse, but I wasn't comfortable hitting those numbers. You could feel the car become a bit shaky once it hit 50mph [80kph].”
