Enterprise scoops quality service award
Enterprise Motor Group, Toyota and the AA have emerged as winners following a nationwide survey to discover companies that provide exemplary service.
The Reader’s Digest’s Quality Service Awards are based on a survey of 2,400 members of the public who were asked to judge businesses on their understanding, personalisation, implicity, satisfaction and consistency over the past 12 months.
Enterprise topped the used vehicle dealership category, with a silver award going to 2 Cheap Cars.
Toyota Signature class was judged the winner in the manufacturer certified used car sales section, followed by Honda Certified Used Cars, which repeated the placings of 2020.
Meanwhile, the AA was victorious in two automotive-related categories with AA Insurance scooping the car insurance title and AA Roadservice taking out the roadside assistance gong.
Louise Waterson, Reader’s Digest APAC editor-in-chief, says many businesses have faced “extreme difficulty” on the customer service front this year because of lockdowns and other Covid-related challenges.
“There have been so many frustrating obstacles to navigate as part of this new virus-wary business and economic landscape, involving more than concerns around loss of revenue,” she explains.
“There’s been a dramatic shift from face-to-face interaction, for example, to online platforms with customer service teams assisting customers through phone calls, social media, online messaging, live chats, SMS and video. For some, this was more seamless than for others.
“Given all the challenges, being recognised as a quality service award winner is arguably more commendable than ever.”
Catalyst Consultancy & Research was commissioned by Reader’s Digest to conduct the survey that covered 35 categories.

Car insurance: Winner – AA Insurance, silver – State
Car rentals: Winner – Jucy, silver – Avis
Manufacturer certified used car sales: Winner – Toyota Signature Class, silver – Honda Certified Used Cars
