Emissions rules webinar postponed

The Imported Motor Vehicle Industry Association (VIA) has postponed its March webinar, which was due to take place next week and focus on the looming changes to vehicle emissions standards.

An email alert to members says VIA staff are in the process of rescheduling the monthly event, which is usually held on the second Tuesday of each month.

“We have invited NZTA officials to present on the implementation of the Euro 5/6 requirements effective from April 30 under the Emissions Rule Amendment,” explains Malcolm Yorston, VIA’s technical support. 

“We know this is an issue of great importance to the sector and we believe it necessary to hear directly from the regulator.

“We are in the process of confirming acceptance of our invitation and co-ordinating calendars. We will reschedule this webinar when we have confirmed a new date and time.”
