Avanti names new sales boss

Avanti Finance has announced the appointment of Jerard d’Unienville as national sales manager for its automotive division.

He brings experience in sales and business development to the company, having held a number of senior sales and sales management positions across the automotive, energy and fast-moving consumer goods sectors. 

Avanti notes his industry knowledge and track record in leading high-performing teams will be instrumental in strengthening and expanding the company’s introducer network through new strategic partnerships.

He joins Avanti from Woolworths New Zealand, where he spent nearly five years as category manager – merchandising.

Before that he was national sales manager at Jaguar Land Rover from April 2018 to November 2020. He has also worked for multi-energy company Total Energies, lubrication supplier Fuchs and Yellow NZ.
