Archibald and Shorter Greenlane have won the Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) supreme retailer of the year award for the third time in succession.

The Auckland dealership picked up the top gong during the 2020/2021 JLR Retailer Excellence Awards held in Auckland on May 1.

It also scooped the awards for excellence in the parts and approved pre-owned categories.

Lee Small, dealer principal, says: “My team and I are over the moon to receive the supreme retailer of the year award for the third year in a row.

“Winning these awards in what has been a difficult year, to say the least, is a reflection of my team’s hard work, flexibility and commitment to our customers.”

Steve Kenchington, general manager of JLR New Zealand, describes 2020 as a “rollercoaster of a year”.

“With stock delays and shortages our teams still managed to pull through and achieve tremendous results, including a record sales month in July 2020,” he explains.

“With the launch of new Defender and new F-PACE our retailers have taken these brands from strength to strength and we look forward to what 2021 has in store.

“The Greenlane team is a credit to the retail network we support – their commitment to the continuous development of the customer experience in their retail environment has raised the bar.”

Other notable winners from the annual event were Archibalds Christchurch, which won the Jaguar retailer of the year award, and Duncan and Ebbett Hamilton, which collected two prizes including Land Rover retailer of the year.
