The model-year 2026.50 Ranger Hybrid range has touched down and introduces a simplified, two-series line-up alongside price reductions designed to make electrified pick-up capability more accessible to Kiwis.

“Demand for Ranger Hybrid has been strong and we’ve listened,” says Mathew Slade, marketing director of Ford NZ. “This streamlined range and sharper pricing make it easier than ever for customers to get behind the wheel of an electrified Ranger.”

The line-up introduces a refreshed design treatment that’s both muscular, functional and modern, giving each variant a unique and unmistakable presence. As with other 2026.50 Rangers, chrome has been replaced with modern gloss and matte=black finishes.

The new, darkened look applies to exterior and interior elements including blackened trim and darkened accents, updated wheel designs and bolder lines. These updates apply to the Ranger Hybrid XLT and the flagship Wildtrak.

The Hybrid Wildtrak’s highlights include 18-inch alloy wheels, trailer back-up assist, a new black power-roller shutter, matrix LED headlamps with automatic levelling and dynamic bending, leather-accented seats with heating for driver and front passenger, Bang & Olufsen premium audio with eight speakers and ambient lighting.

The model year brings a notable upgrade with a 12.4-inch instrumentation cluster, up from the previous eight-inch display, along with a mode two home-charging cable included as standard.

The Ranger XLT Hybrid’s features include 17-inch alloys, drop-in bedliner, intelligent cruise control with stop and go, a 12.4-inch instrumentation cluster, 12-inch infotainment touchscreen, dual-zone climate control with rear air vents and steel underbody protection

Ford NZ has reduced the recommended retail prices across the range, reinforcing its “commitment to making hybrid pick-up technology more attainable”.

Model-year 2026.50 Ranger Hybrid XLT starts at $74,990, down from 2026’s $82,990 and the Hybrid Wildtrak is down from $89,990 to $85,990.
