Silverado goes Outback
GM Specialty Vehicles (GMSV) has partnered with Australian TV series All 4 Adventure to help showcase the new MY23 Chevrolet Silverado range.
Greg Rowe, director of GMSV Australia and New Zealand, says: “Our partnership with All 4 Adventure is an exciting new opportunity for the new Chevrolet Silverado to venture off the beaten track and into some rough and ready off-road experiences.
“The boys are going to be putting the Chevy Silverado 1500 through some of Australia's toughest and extreme terrain, I’m sure the new ZR2 will be up for the challenge and it’s going to make for some awesome TV.”
Jase Andrews, pictured, host of the four-wheel-drive and adventure show, can’t wait to get behind the wheel of the new model.
“I’m a huge fan of the truck, especially the redesigned interior, and am rather intrigued to find out how the off-road-oriented ZR2 performs out the back of beyond.
“I also can’t wait to experience the performance of the powerful 6.2-litre EcoTech3 V8 engine, it sounds like it will be an absolute beast.”
The new MY24 Heavy Duty has been undergoing local certification and testing in the Northern Territory.
Rowe notes more details about the vehicle will be made publicly available in the coming months.
