Patrol pricing revealed
Nissan NZ has announced pricing and key specifications for the all-new Patrol with the four-grade range opening at $120,990.
At $2,000 more than the outgoing Y62 Patrol, every variant in the all-new Y63 range delivers a substantial upgrade in standard equipment along with a more powerful engine and braked-towing capacity of 3,700kg.
The new Y63 features a more rigid chassis, advanced suspension systems, a more powerful drivetrain and substantial upgrades to in-cabin technology including Klipsch premium audio, and Google built-in and Google Gemini AI. The line-up spans Ti, Ti-L, and Ti-L Reserve alongside the off-road-focused PRO-4X.
“The all-new Patrol gives Kiwis more choice than ever with a range that spans family comfort, genuine off-road capability and new levels of refinement,” says Steve Milette, managing director of Nissan Oceania.
“Every grade delivers more power, technology, comfort and capability. It’s a Patrol designed to meet the needs of more New Zealanders whether they’re touring, towing, tackling the bush or looking for a spacious premium family SUV.”
The TI starts at $120,990 plus on-road costs. Next up is the Ti-L at $136,490, the PRO-4X at $145,990 and the Ti-L Reserve, which starts at $150,490. Orders are open now with first customer deliveries expected in early 2027.
Higher refinement
The Y63 Patrol represents a “step-change for the nameplate, both in occupant comfort and in breadth of capability”. Every grade in the all-new Patrol range includes a modern exterior with strong proportions and a bold presence, refined premium interior and three rows of seats with space to fit eight adults.
The 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6 paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission delivering 317kW of power and 700Nm of torque.
There’s full-time 4WD with a 4L + 4H interlocking transfer case, an electronic locking rear differential, and eight drive and terrain modes. Braked towing capacity is 3,700kg with trailer blind-spot warning. And there’s a widescreen monolith display and invisible hood “skeleton view”.
Chassis and suspension
The all-new Patrol is built on an all-new ladder frame that offers 40 per cent more torsional rigidity than its predecessor with multi-link independent suspension and the adoption of electric power steering.
The Ti-L grade introduces intelligent dynamic damping e-damper suspension, which continuously adjusts damping to conditions.
The Ti-L Reserve and PRO-4X add adaptive air suspension paired with intelligent dynamic damping. This allows the ride height to be raised off-road to improve approach, breakover and departure angles, and lowered when the vehicle is shifted into park for easier entry, exit and cargo loading.
On the highway, adaptive air suspension lowers automatically at speeds above 90kph and raises again below 70kph to support fuel economy and cruising comfort.
