New policy analyst at IMVIA

Lonnie 'Kit' Wilkerson has joined the Imported Motor Vehicle Industry Association (IMVIA) as a policy advisor and analyst. Prior to taking on the role at the IMVIA, Wilkerson worked in the intelligent transport systems department St Cloud University in Minnesota. He holds a BA in applied linguistics and computer science as well as an MA in linguistics from Southern Illinois University. Wilkerson is replacing John Nicholls, who is retiring. Wilkerson is also completing his PhD in philosophy at The University of Auckland, with his research concentrating on "a new model of machine learning with implications in areas such as data mining and artificial intelligence."
