Jeep has announced it is preparing to launch its first global battery electric vehicle (BEV) with the all-new Wagoneer S set to hit the US market in the second half of 2024 before being released in key markets worldwide.

Offered exclusively as a BEV, the model will offer standard 4xe capability with all-terrain management, a 440kW powertrain, advanced technology and a 0-100kph sprint time of around 3.5 seconds.

Jeep says the vehicle’s design has been driven by aerodynamic efficiency and will sport a new LED-lit, class-exclusive, seven-slot Jeep brand grille.

The Wagoneer S is part of the marque’s electrification initiative and supports the ambition of its parent company, Stellantis, to become a carbon net zero corporation by 2038.
