Hunter becomes FSF chair
The chief executive officer of Turners Automotive Group has been appointed as chairman of the Financial Services Federation (FSF).
Todd Hunter took up the position following a members’ election at the organisation’s annual general meeting last week.
New appointments to the FSF’s executive committee are Don Atkinson, CEO of UDC Finance, Jasmine Sim, CFO of Speirs Finance Group, Chris Lamers, CEO of MTF Finance, and Simon Scott, chief executive of First Credit Union.
They will be joined by existing members of the executive. In addition to Hunter, they are new deputy chair, Jane Dunkerley, who is CEO of Centracorp Finance, Neil Simons, director of Latitude Financial, and James Searle, general manager of DPL Insurance.
Executive director Lyn McMorran thanks committee members who did not seek re-election for their service, particularly former deputy chair Mark Spring, managing director of Limelight Group, and ex-chairman Mark Mountcastle, CEO of Avanti Finance.
She says: “The FSF is extremely grateful to Mark Mountcastle and Mark Spring for their exceptional guidance and service in their roles as chair and deputy chair respectively.
“I would personally like to thank them for their dedication to the federation and commitment to ensuring we achieve our strategic objectives and continue to add value for our members.”
In his final address as chairman, Mountcastle says in the latest annual report that it’s an exciting new chapter for the federation, which is seeing unprecedented support from its members.
“As I hand over the reins to fresh leadership, I’m totally confident in the belief the FSF is in very good heart with a positive and exciting future to look forward to,” he adds.
McMorran says the federation is delighted to welcome its new executive committee. “We are entering 2024 with record membership numbers as more and more organisations realise the value of connectivity and a collective voice that their association provides.
“The new executive committee is a fitting representation of the calibre and diversity of members.”
