The MG Mystics, defending champions in the ANZ Premiership netball series, have taken delivery of a fleet of new MG HS Plug-In Hybrids for the upcoming season.

The medium-size SUV offers power and practicality as well as the option to operate on electric-drive mode.

Arek Zywot, MG New Zealand’s country manager, says: “This season will be the third year of the partnership between MG and the Mystics.

“We thought it was a great opportunity for the team to experience the HS PHEV because it combines the power of an advanced petrol engine with an electric motor for better fuel economy.”

The fleet of new branded vehicles has been delivered to the team and will be used by senior players during the championship, which starts on April 13.

Phil Vyver, chief executive of the MG Mystics, says: “MG New Zealand has provided invaluable support to the Mystics. We’re thrilled to have them as our principal sponsor again for 2024 and alongside us sharing in our on-court success.”

Key features of the HS Plug-In Hybrid include MG Pilot for a wide-ranging suite of active and passive safety features, fuel consumption of 1.7l/100km and an electric-driving range of 63km on the NEDC.
