Ford New Zealand has announced the first Everest Wildtrak will be hitting our market in July this year with the SUV’s arrival part of changes to the Everest line-up.
Customers also now have two engine options for the Everest Sport, with models carrying a two-litre bi-turbo powertrain set to be available for delivery from March.
The Wildtrak has traits inspired by the blue oval’s top-selling Ranger and boasts special exterior and interior detailing and finishes, advanced technologies, and a suite of driver assistance systems.
Under the bonnet is a three-litre V6 diesel that helps deliver a 3,500kg towing capacity for the vehicle.
Other features are 20-inch alloy wheels with boulder grey detailing, a leather-trimmed cabin, and driver and front passenger seats with 10 and eight-way power adjustment, heating and cooling functions.
At the centre of the cockpit is a 12.4-inch fully digital instrument cluster and the portrait-oriented 12-inch touchscreen that controls Ford’s SYNC 4A infotainment system.
The Wildtrak also features a 10-speaker stereo system and wireless device charging as standard and supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Ford says further specifications and pricing for the model will be available closer to its arrival.
