Car wash in uncharted territory

For anyone working at a car wash, having to deal with a treasure hunter’s vehicle is the stuff of nightmares as it comes covered with mud and contains a few unpleasant surprises on the inside.

Hyundai has entertainingly tapped into such a premise to advertise its Tucson after teaming up with actor Tom Holland, who stars in the film Uncharted that tells the story of Nathan Drake and his accomplices as they go searching for gold.

In the commercial, Drake is back from his latest adventure and pulls up at his local car wash with the Tucson plastered in dirt and arrows sticking out of the grille.

Hyundai keeps up the humour as the movie’s hero relaxes and the bemused staff discover some unwelcome hitchhikers inside the vehicle while they spruce it up.

However, the workers get a pleasant surprise in the end when Drake hands them a gold bar as payment before heading off on his next expedition.
