Bull caught riding shotgun
Police were left stunned after responding to calls of man driving around with a huge Watusi bull riding shotgun in his vehicle in the US state of Nebraska.
The modified Ford Crown Victoria sedan and its hefty passenger, named Howdy Doody, was spotted on the main highway entering the city of Norfolk on August 30, reports the Associated Press.
The driver was identified as Lee Meyer, who has driven in parades across the area for years and has removed half the windscreen and roof from his car to make room for the bull. A yellow metal cattle gate serves as the passenger side door.
Norfolk Police Captain Chad Reiman says there were some traffic violations related to Meyer’s car, but the officer let him off with a warning as long as he left the city and took Howdy Doody home.
“We’ve never dealt with anything quite like that before,” Reiman adds.
