Bond star makes different getaway
Former James Bond actor Pierce Brosnan has visions of danger lurking around every corner in a campaign created by Kia to promote its Sorento model.
The advert shows Brosnan talking to his agent, who plays up the project as his next big thing, only for the Hollywood star to learn there is no action-packed mission.
The actor, who played Bond in four movies from 1995 to 2002, thinks he’ll be racing past snipers, encountering missile launchers and facing exploding buildings.
Instead, the Sorento offers something a little more underwhelming and he is seen taking a leisurely drive through snowy mountains to a scenic wooden cabin. But being Bond, he still gets the girl at the end.
“The Perfect Getaway” by Kia was screened in the United States during American Football’s Super Bowl in 2015.
