Aston Martin’s DBX may be a luxury SUV with sports car performance, but a range of accessories aim to link the model more closely to other aspects of the everyday lives of car owners.

Set to be available at launch, 11 optional accessory packs will help tailor the DBX to a range of pursuits and hobbies, including catering to your pet dog.

A Pet Pack includes a partition to give animals their own space in the boot of the car, a bumper protector to stop paws scratching paintwork and a portable washer to clean up your dog after a muddy walk.

Other options include a Snow Pack, which provides a ski bag, roof-mounted ski rack, snow chains and a boot warmer, and a Touring Pack, which features a four-piece luggage set, cabin saddle bags, lockable stowage under the front passenger seat and an emergency first aid kit.

The Essentials Pack will offer accessories such as a centre console organiser, a rear seat entertainment holder and a heated cup, while an Interior Protection Pack provides seat covers, a rear bumper protector and all-weather mats throughout the car.

For social occasions, the Event Pack will provide a picnic hamper, picnic blanket and event seating.

Aston Martin also plans to offer a variety of individual accessories, including three special-edition Maxi-Cosi child and baby seats.

Aston Martin Lagonda president and group CEO Dr Andy Palmer says the range of special offerings aim to make the DBX an integral part of customers’ everyday lives.

"With the lifestyle packs I think we have been able to ensure that DBX is a vehicle that not only enables but also enhances experiences,” he says.

Pricing for the accessory packs will be made available upon the launch of DBX, a date for which has yet to be announced.
