VW Amarok V6 range revealed
On Friday Volkswagen New Zealand revealed the new Amarok V6 Range.
“The introduction of the Amarok V6 TDI at a sub-$70k price point is really exciting news for our brand,” says Kevin Richards, Head of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles New Zealand.
“Amarok sales have increased YTD by 82.9% within the Double / Crew Cab 4WD Auto segment.”
The Amarok V6 3.0L TDI 4MOTION all-wheel drive model delivers a power output of 165kW including an over- boost function, which can increase the engine power up to 180kw.
The Amarok V6 achieves 0-100 km/h in just 7.9 seconds.
Other Amarok V6 credentials include; towing capacity maximum of 3,500kg braked load limit, automatic Post-Collision Braking System and 4MOTION 4WD as standard.
