Ute in crazy sand dune jump
A Ford Ranger Raptor driver produced a stunning leap over a sand dune in Brazil but they were left counting the cost of their antics after thumping down into the sand.
A video shot in Canoa Quebrada shows the vehicle speeding towards a dune before getting airborne for a considerable distance.
The cameraman failed to record the landing but subsequent footage provides a close-up of the ute’s crumpled bodywork.
As The Drive website reports: “The front end is mangled, the fender-mounted trim popped off, and all of the airbags deployed. Something’s up with the back end, too.”
It adds another video of the incident shared to social media shows the bed and rear axle of the vehicle appear to have moved, while the rear wheels are buried in the sand.
