Updates available on C8
GMSV has revealed details of updates and enhancements available on its upcoming right-hand-drive (RHD) C8 Corvette.
“The response to the C8 has been unheralded, not just in Australia and New Zealand but right around the world,” says Joanne Stogiannis, director of GMSV.
“This overwhelming international demand for the C8, along with added complexity of being the first-ever factory-manufactured RHD model, meant we needed to pre-set our launch allocation of customer vehicles.”
However, with the latest model-year 2023 allocation GMSV is offering buyers the ability to personalise their cars further, resulting in a more bespoke ordering process.
Stogiannis adds: “Providing customers with an improved level of personalisation was a key focus for us with this allocation, as well as news that we’re providing smaller, more frequent dealer allocations at this time.
“This will mean there’s greater visibility on production timing along with the opportunity for customers to personalise elements of their vehicles.”
New content for the 2023 C8 Corvette includes three options for its wheels, black exhaust tips and a striking blackout interior trim. An “adrenaline red” full-dipped interior is also available.
With customers now having the ability to change some options specified on their vehicles, they have a choice in exterior paint colour, decals, brake-calliper colour, exhaust-tip option, seat-belt colour as well as interior trim colour.
“The C8 elicits a huge amount of passion and excitement among owners and fans,” says Stogiannis. “It is a dramatic car, full of character and personality.
“With the possibility of making changes to certain features, we’re providing owners with the opportunity to make their Corvette their own to a greater extent than has been possible before.”
Shipping of the new model is anticipated to start in the fourth quarter of this year.
