Turners tops quality service awards

Turners Cars has emerged top of the pile when it comes to quality service, with the company clinching gold in an annual awards survey.
The firm took out the top accolade in the used vehicle dealerships category of the Reader’s Digest Quality Service Awards. Buy Right Cars, which is also owned by the Turners Automotive Group and was this year rebranded as Turners Cars, won silver.
The awards cover 40 categories ranging from insurance to retirement villages and loyalty cards to internet providers, and are based on a survey of 1500 New Zealanders. Reader’s Digest puts the results into gold and silver recommendations to provide a guide for Kiwi consumers as to which businesses have good customer service.
New categories for the 2020 honours include the used vehicle dealerships section and a manufactured certified used car sales category, which was won by Toyota Signature Class with Honda Certified Used Cars claiming silver.
A number of automotive-related businesses have been consistent performers in the awards, which are in their sixth year, with AA Insurance, AMI and Bridgestone repeating their successes of last year. Reader’s Digest says Bridgestone is an example of a company “that doesn’t appear to drop the excellent customer service ball”, having been a silver or gold medal winner every year since the awards began.
