Turners hunts for suspects
Turners Auto Retail has released security camera images of a person it believes may be connected with a break-in at its site in Te Rapa Road, Hamilton, this month.
Thieves took three vehicles – a Volkswagen, a Holden Commodore and a Mercedes-Benz S-Class – along with keys for most of the cars at the branch during the raid on November 5.
Following an earlier appeal by the company, Turners says the three vehicles have been recovered in Huntly and two of them have suffered considerable damage.
It is now seeking help to identify a person seen in and around the yard at about the time of the evening burglary, pictured above, and on a previous occasion, pictured below.
“All Turners sites have security systems and images were captured from that evening of the person believed to be directly involved in this crime,” the company says in a statement released on November 15.
Turners adds it would like to talk to this person or find out who he and two other people that may have been involved in the incident are.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Turners on 0800 887 637 or the police on 105, quoting case number 221106/2871.
