Turners Group announces new CEO

Turners Automotive Group Limited has announced experienced automotive executive Greg Hedgepeth will join the team as the new chief executive officer of its Turners Group NZ business (formerly known as Turners Auctions). Hedgepeth has a long experience in the New Zealand automotive industry, including senior management roles with the BMW Group NZ and the Armstrong Motor Group dealer network. Group CEO of Turners Todd Hunter said Hedgepeth will be a welcome addition to the leadership team. “Turners is an iconic New Zealand brand which is currently going through an exciting transformation,” he said. “Greg’s passion for the industry and his expertise in sales and marketing will be of value as we continue to transition the Turners business towards the retail customer, with a growing proportion (currently 65 per cent) of sales to retail customers.”
