Tradie wins free ute

LDV has joined forces with CONZTRUCT, New Zealand’s largest nationally run trade show for the building and construction industry. 

Travelling across 16 locations from Whangarei to Invercargill, it connects thousands of tradies and suppliers. 

As the official vehicle partner for this year’s series of events, LDV gave every attendee the chance to win a new T60 fully equipped with a canopy.

Attracting a wide range of professionals from builders and electricians to architects and designers, CONZTRUCT ran from June to November and continues to be one of New Zealand’s most respected trade events. 

LDV’s head of brand marketing, Daile Stephens, says the marque offers New Zealand’s largest range of commercial vehicles to “keep Kiwi businesses moving”.

She adds: “We’re so thrilled Lyndon [Howard] will get plenty of use out of this ‘tool of trade’ prize – the T60.”

The partnership with CONZTRUCT gives LDV the chance to engage directly with potential customers, particularly tradies, electricians and architects.

Howard was over the moon to take home the T60. After recently returning to work after six years in Canada and Antarctica, he attended the Queenstown event after being given an invitation from his manager. 

“This was my first time at CONZTRUCT,” he says. “It was awesome to talk to so many industry professionals and learn about the latest products.”

A passionate sparky, Howard works with high-end residential clients and sees the T60 as ideal for his lifestyle. 

“Huge thanks to my boss for inviting me to Queenstown and to LDV for this incredible prize. It’s a fantastic ute and I can’t wait to take it on a road trip down south for the holidays.”

LDV is partnering with CONZTRUCT in 2025 and will again offer a prize vehicle for attendees.
