Trade Me invests in vehicle software
Trade Me has announced it has taken a 51 per cent stake in AutoGrab NZ, a vehicle-software business.
AutoGrab offers live vehicle valuations to help dealers, finance and insurance companies. It was founded in Australia in 2020 by Dan Werzberger and Chris Gardner and launched in New Zealand in April 2022.
Jayme Fuller, Trade Me Motors sales director, says the partnership will enable dealers and MotorWeb customers to leverage live market data to help them value vehicles.
“We’re always looking for ways we can make our customers’ lives easier and we’re really excited to partner with AutoGrab NZ,” says Fuller, pictured.
“We know that accurately valuing a vehicle can be a pain point for dealers when buying and selling cars and we believe AutoGrab’s tools are a great solution.”
An AutoGrab spokesperson adds the company is looking forward to partnering with New Zealand's largest online marketplace “to help Kiwi dealers increase their profitability”.
