Honda Australia has appointed Robert Thorp as director after having previously served as general manager of automotive and playing a lead role in designing and implementing its agency business model.
Thorp, pictured, will be responsible for the company’s automotive business and oversee brand and marketing.
The announcement follows news Carolyn McMahon, Honda Australia’s vice-president and director, will be taking on the role of president of Honda NZ from April 1.
She says: “I have full confidence in his ability to build on the strong foundation we’ve established and drive continued success for Honda Australia.”
