Marque expands footprint
JAC New Zealand has announced the appointment of four new sales locations as the company expands its regional footprint.
New dealerships have opened in Paeroa and Invercargill, while pop-up sites are now operating in Cromwell and Blenheim.
The expansion of JAC’s network coincides with the launch of the T9 PHEV, with the plug-in hybrid now available alongside a diesel version of the ute.
The brand has teamed up with Whyteline in Paeroa, a family-owned dealership with more than 50 years of sales and servicing experience that was founded by the late John Whyte and is now run by his son Mark and colleagues.
Another family business, Jason Taylor Vehicle Sales, will run a JAC dealership in Invercargill, pictured above, and a pop-up site in Cromwell.
Meanwhile, Arthur Burke Limited has been appointed to run a pop-up yard in Blenheim.
Andrew Craw, general manager of JAC NZ, says the expansion reflects where demand is.
“We’ve seen the appetite for JAC across these regions – whether that’s to the east of the North Island or chatting to people at Southern Field Days in Gore – and it was important to us that we put the right people in place to support that,” he adds.
JAC started selling the T9 Diesel Ute here in late 2024 and added the T9 PHEV, pictured below, to its line-up after launching it at Fieldays this year.
