Test drives for charity

MG New Zealand and its dealer network are participating in an initiative to raise up to $10,000 for the NZ Red Cross.

For every test drive taken until December 31, the marque is donating $10 to the organisation.

“This generosity will help us support thousands of people whether it’s delivering warm meals, helping former refugees settle in their new homes or helping people affected by emergencies and disasters,” says Shane Chisholm, general manager of engagement and enterprise at the NZ Red Cross.

Arek Zywot, pictured, country manager of MG Motor NZ, adds: “We’re proud to support the New Zealand Red Cross and recognise the outstanding work the organisation does for so many in our community.”

The Test Drive For A Difference initiative runs on both sides of the Tasman. Over the past five years, MG New Zealand and MG Australia have collectively donated $250,000 to each country’s respective Red Cross organisations.
