Tesla lowers NZ prices

Tesla has reduced Model S and Model X prices in New Zealand, with prices now starting at $137,120 before incentives.

The total price cut will depend on the features customers choose, but Tesla has lowered the base price of all Model S and Model X trims.

"With these updates, we’ve taken a significant step towards allowing everyone to buy a Tesla, and accelerating the transition to sustainable transportation," said Tesla in a statement. 
 

The updated prices are as follows:

Model S:
Standard Range (520km) now starts at $137,120
Long Range (632km) now starts at $144,120
Ludicrious Performance (613km, 0-100kph in 2.6s) now starts at $165,420

Model X:
Long Range (565km) now starts at $152,220
Ludicrous Performance (542km, 0-100kph in 3.0s) now starts at $172,820
