Supercars to launch new dealership
The Giltrap Group is preparing to officially open the doors of its new showroom in Christchurch this weekend by inviting the public to get up close to a range of supercars.
The new facility at 491 Waterloo Rd, Islington, includes a Polestar Christchurch test drive and handover site, a certified Bentley service centre, and will offer a selection of pre-owned luxury vehicles and supercars.
Jarrod Clarke, general manager, says: “Our passionate customer base in Canterbury and across the South Island made this facility a must for Giltrap Group.
“There is no question that the South Island boasts the world’s best driving roads, so it is fantastic to be able to offer the highest possible level of service and support for our customers in Christchurch.”
To mark the official opening on Saturday, November 4, a number of supercars will be free to view at the dealership from 9am to noon as part of the South Island’s first Cafe 66 event.
A regular feature of the Auckland car scene, Cafe 66 is described as the supercar equivalent of cars-and-coffee-style events held worldwide.
“This is the best way to celebrate the official opening of Giltrap Christchurch, and after the sell-out success of the Starship Supercar Show, it only made sense to bring some of the magic to Christchurch,” adds Clarke.
Polestar Christchurch, the main brand for Giltrap Christchurch, will also have the new Polestar 3 SUV on display alongside its full range of Polestar 2 models.
