Singer bungles getting into car

A gospel singer and rapper in the United States left his friends in fits of laughter after bungling an attempt to get into a chauffeur-driven vehicle.
Kirk Franklin started filming a video poking fun at the fact his driver had pulled out a step stool to help him clamber into the car.
“So, I’m getting ready to head to the hotel and I was trying to get into the truck and I noticed there was a little height for me,” he says to the camera.
“I don’t even know this driver… He had the audacity to pull this [step stool] out so that I can get into this car.”
Franklin then asks for the step stool to be removed but the laughs are on him when his attempt to hop into the vehicle fails and he slides out into the street.
The award-winning performer’s second effort was successful and Franklin also saw the funny side of the incident this month after sharing the video on Instagram.
He says the hilarious moment made for a religious lesson: “Some of you can be so prideful that you don’t allow others to give you a step up when they see life has cut you short… humble yourself so you don’t slide out of the vehicles sent to take you to your next season.
“To go high sometimes you gotta get low.”
