Robber pays for parking

A robber was seen calmly paying for parking moments after he and others committed a brazen heist and seized an estimated NZ$60 million of cash and jewels.

Security camera footage shows one of the masked men diligently feeding coins into a parking machine as they make their getaway after raiding a German bank vault, reports 7News Australia.

The gang, believed to have consisted of two or three people, reportedly entered the bank via a parking garage and drilled through a 45cm-thick, reinforced concrete wall to access the loot. 

The break-in at a branch of Sparkasse bank in Gelsenkirchen took place in late December last year and was undetected until a fire alarm was triggered a few days later.
