Marque focuses on farmers

Nissan New Zealand has announced a number of special offers on select new models to coincide with the nation’s focus on farming month.

The headline deal is up to $5,000 in savings and accessories on the new Navara, consisting of a $3,000 factory bonus on ST-X and PRO-4X models complemented by up to $2,000 of genuine accessories. The offer ends on June 22.

Offers are also available on the X-Trail and Qashqai. For the former, there is a $1,000 loyalty bonus for Nissan owners who purchase the new model, as well as a one per cent finance rate based on zero deposit and a 24-month term.

Meanwhile, the latest Qashqai can be purchased at a 3.9 per cent finance rate on Ti models and above.

The deals are in addition to the Nissan MORE ownership programme, a 10-year or 300,000km warranty initiative the marque says is designed to deliver peace of mind, cost certainty and long-term value across the Nissan range.

Sri Padmanabhan, country head of Nissan NZ, adds: “The Nissan ‘Built for the Land’ offers, in conjunction with the Nissan MORE ownership programme, present a value-laden and very compelling new vehicle purchase proposition.

“They reinforce the brand’s commitment to the market, rewarding customer loyalty and delivering industry-leading ownership support.”

Nissan also advises the last of its V8 petrol-powered Patrols are at dealerships around the country.

“Patrol is renowned for having almost as much power and pull as a tractor,” notes Padmanabhan.

“It’s fitting that the last of the V8 petrol models are available this month when there is a focus on all things rural, as many Patrol owners use their vehicle for towing farm equipment during the week, then leisure gear on the weekend.”
