Rebrand for finance firm
A New Zealand finance company is embarking on a rebranding campaign after dropping part of its previous title as it seeks to grow the business and maintain its commitment to providing “personalised lending expertise”.
What was MTF Finance is now known as MTF and it has also introduced a new logo and the tagline “Your local money experts”.
The company’s core offerings include personal, business, and vehicle loans, with the recent addition of a new mortgage advice product.
The brand refresh featured new commercials airing across mainstream TV and video channels on November 24, and the new messaging is set to roll out across other platforms over the coming months.
“As we continue to grow, we are excited to take our brand into its next phase, building on the success of the past while focusing on what matters most – our customers,” says Chris Lamers, chief executive officer.
“Our brand refresh brings MTF’s message into sharper focus: we’re here to empower and support those reaching for more.”
MTF has 54 franchises and a network of dealerships across the country as it aims to provide consumers with face-to-face access to lending experts.
After reaching $1 billion in lending assets in 2023, receivables grew an additional 10 per cent to finish the 2024 financial year at $1.1b.
MTF notes the new branding is part of a broader growth strategy to achieve its long-term strategic goals, centred around building deeper connections with local communities.
Its campaign carries the message “We See You, because we are you”, which the lender explains embodies its commitment to treating each customer as unique.
“MTF is not just a lender – we are people helping people,” adds Lamers.
“Our focus is on providing personalised lending expertise, rooted in care and empathy, through our growing network of franchises and dealer partnerships. This is about making lending a more accessible and human experience for all Kiwis.”
