Ingham expands portfolio

The Ingham Motor Group, one of the country’s largest automotive retailers, will become the new owner of the Central Motor Group Ford dealerships in Rotorua and Taupo. 

The strategic acquisition marks a major expansion of Ingham’s footprint and “reinforces” Ford New Zealand’s commitment to delivering “exceptional service and support” to customers in the Central North Island.

The acquisition will see Ingham leverage its expertise and resources to elevate customer experience at both locations, which will trade under the names of Ingham Ford Taupo and Ingham Ford Rotorua. 

Ingham, which was established in 1968 and has 14 brands and multiple dealerships across the North Island, already has a significant presence in Taupo operating franchises in the area.
