Hyundai says smartphone owners can get to grips with the speed and excitement of the Shell World Rally Team with a free-to-download application. Features include a Virtual Reality (VR+) or 360-degree panoramic view play function from the co-driver’s seat of Dani Sordo’s i20 WRC. The app can be enjoyed best using a Google cardboard or any commercial VR device on the market. Hyundai Motorsport’s website can also be accessed through the app so users can keep up with developments, news and YouTube videos. The VR+ app is available to download from the Apple App store and requires at least an iPhone5 and from Google Play with an Android v4.1 or higher.
