Petrol variants join hybrid

MG Motor NZ has announced the pricing for its all-new ZS with petrol variants, which will join the ZS Hybrid+ that was recently launched.

The ZS Excite starts at $29,990 plus on-road costs. The ZS Essence is priced from $32,990 and the ZS Essence Turbo costs from $34,990.

The marque says there has been a “fantastic response” to the Hybrid+ and the expanded range will provide “exceptional value” for families when it arrives in showrooms from early February.

The fuel efficiency of the ZS Excite and Essence is rated at 6.7l/100km and they can deliver 81kW of power. The Essence Turbo produces 125kW with 6.9l/100km fuel consumption.

MG provides a 10-year/250,000km warranty with its new cars. Full specification for the ZS range will be announced next month.
