Pals create quirky compact car
A group of friends from the Netherlands converted an Opel Astra by shortening its body with hilarious effects.
The vehicle, named the Opel Asterix, was created by the “Sas-team” before being put through its paces in the video below.
The team was formed by a group of friends who previously competed in dirt-track events and speedway races.
When they stopped racing, they started making unusual creations and doing crazy stunts at their workshop. Other vehicles to be transformed at their hands include a Jaguar and a VW Golf.
