Olympians grapple with parked car

The Greek Olympic men’s water polo team had to unexpectedly flex their muscles during the Paris 2024 games when a parked car on a city street was blocking their bus from passing.

The athletes were returning to the Olympic Village after a training session on July 28 when they encountered the problem Renault, reports the Greek City Times.

With no sign of the car’s owner, the players took action and managed to pick up the black vehicle and move it far enough to allow the bus to pass.

Coaching staff can be seen laughing and filming the incident before the team’s successful intervention was met with cheers of “Greece, Greece”, reports the Daily Mail.

While the Greek team managed to shift the car, their quest for an Olympic medal ended in disappointment after losing 12-11 to Serbia in the quarter-finals.
