New dealer boss for VW NZ

Volkswagen New Zealand has appointed Jason Jarvis as its new dealer development manager.
He has taken up the position this month and brings more than 30 years’ experience in the automotive industry to the role.
Jarvis, pictured, was previously the managing director and trainer for his own company, JMIS Training, based in Auckland.
The company provided professional sales, management and leadership training for motor vehicle dealers and distributors.
Prior to that he spent 11 years working for the likes of Isuzu Utes NZ, Continental Cars BMW, Continental Cars, and City and West Auckland Nissan.
He joins Volkswagen NZ after it set a new monthly sales record in September of 528 units.
Jake Tobin has also recently returned to Volkswagen NZ as marketing manager, a post he previously held for two years between 2017 and 2019. He moved into the position in August and will hold it for a year while Helena Schultz is on maternity leave.
Tobin runs his own marketing company, Off the Bench NZ, and has previously spent a number of years in the automotive industry, including being senior brand manager for Volkswagen NZ and brand manager at European Motor Distributors.
