MG Motor lands on the North Shore

MG Motor New Zealand has taken the next step towards creating an established dealer network in New Zealand, with the announcement of a new Auckland outlet - Tristram European. 

"We are opening a temporary showroom next door to our dealership at 132 Wairau Road on the North Shore. Be sure to head along and check out the new range on offer," said Tristram European in a statement on Facebook. 

Speaking about the introduction of MG Motor in the New Zealand market, Peter Cao, CEO of SAIC Motor Australia and New Zealand said: "We see New Zealand as the perfect fit for MG. As a global brand, MG has evolved to today stand for great value, impressive design and high-quality manufacture and we anticipate it will appeal to New Zealand customers." 

Alongside the current models, Tristram European will add the fully electric MG EZ to the line-up when it arrives in New Zealand next year. 

Tristram European's appointment follows in the footsteps of other recent dealership partnerships across the country. Three others have already been announced in Christchurch, Palmerston North and Tauranga.
