The “Ultimate Tradie” is the star of a new commercial that puts the JAC T9 ute through its paces and highlights a built-in pie warmer as one of the vehicle’s standout features.
The mystery character in the JAC New Zealand campaign is a distinctly Kiwi take on Top Gear’s famous vehicle tester, the Stig.
Described as equal parts sparky, builder, plumber and accountant, the Ultimate Tradie gets behind the wheel of the top-spec 4WD JAC T9 in the advert before giving his verdict on the ute.
The amusing commercial ends with the character, despite his versatility, struggling to put ketchup on his pie.
