Marque revamps pricing structure
MG Motor has released details of a drive-away pricing initiative, which means what’s advertised is the final price because there are no add-ons or on-road costs to pay.
The shift in policy is complementary to the marque’s announcement of a new seven-year trifecta of warranty, roadside assistance and warrant of fitness on all new MGs bought from December 1.
“Drive-away pricing adds a new level of transparency and makes the buying process straightforward,” says Peter Ciao, chief executive officer of MG Motor Australia and New Zealand.
“A similar programme has helped to build a loyal customer base in Australia. We have high hopes this will attract more Kiwis to the brand, especially as they know our prices are honest and fair.”
All MGs will be advertised with drive-away pricing across the country and is available at all 14 MG dealerships in this country.
“We are excited to introduce this plan to MG customers in New Zealand and look forward to welcoming many more Kiwis to the growing MG family,” adds Ciao.
