June: Top 10 new cars

New passenger vehicle sales totalled 9,021 which was a 5.9 per cent increase on June 2014's total of 8,517. Toyota was the top selling new passenger marque recording 2,171 units. It was followed by Holden on 870, Hyundai on 773 and Mazda on 697. Mitsubishi rounded out the top five securing 691 sales. The top selling new passenger model was the Toyota RAV4 on 613 units. Second place went to the Toyota Highlander on 489, followed by the Toyota Corolla on 436. The Hyundai IX35 recorded 272 units, while the Mitsubishi Outlander was on 266.
