JAC sponsoring Fieldays
JAC New Zealand has become a major sponsor of this year’s Fieldays as it introduces its range-topping ute to the market.
The four-wheel-drive T9 double-cab joins the marque’s fleet of 100 per cent EV and Cummins diesel trucks.
“Being a brand that’s new to New Zealand, we’re stoked to get behind Kiwis and support the team at Fieldays and Mystery Creek Events Centre,” says Andrew Craw, JAC NZ’s general manager.
“Before launching the T9 here, we’ve been putting it through its paces on and off New Zealand roads. It’s been tested for Kiwis by Kiwis and it’s a proven workhorse. It’s also officially NZ’s safest ute with its five-star ANCAP score.”
“We are excited to have JAC onboard and help it showcase a ute that’s been built with truck DNA,” says Richard Lindroos, chief executive officer of the New Zealand National Fieldays Society.
The alignment with Fieldays, which runs from June 11-14 near Hamilton, underscores JAC’s ambition to establish itself as a key player in the ute sector.
To celebrate the partnership, every Friday in May, JAC and Fieldays will be parking up in locations around the Waikato to show off the T9.
Fieldays is also being supported with the use of JAC’s 100 per cent EV light-duty truck. It will allow the event to continue reducing its carbon emissions as well as lowering operational running costs.
Along with displaying its range of trucks, the T9, which has a launch price of $49,990 plus on-roads, will be on display at Mystery Creek. Visitors scanning their registered Fieldays smart band will go into a draw to win a T9 complete with a tow bar.
