Car creates awe in weird world
A drive through a neighbourhood of souped-up people and items aimed to show that none of them could compare to a new vehicle described as “not your average family car”.
The quirky advert for the Skoda Octavia vRS features a host of weirdly enormous versions of everyday things such as a kid’s tricycle and an ice-cream van with monster truck tyres.
There is also a powerful lawn mower, a barbecue powered by a jet turbine, a seven-pronged pneumatic drill, a giant dog and a bulked-up teddy bear with well-defined abs in the 2013 campaign.
However, all the owners of these amazing, super-sized possessions appear to be awestruck by the Skoda as it cruises around.
