Hyundai opens flagship showroom
Hyundai opened its first flagship showroom in Seoul, South Korea this week. It features the world’s first ‘car rotators’ which were designed internally, allowing nine, full-size Genesis models to create the facade and central display of the building. The angle of each car will be adjusted every month, allowing customers to observe each car from every angle first-hand, including their undercarriages. The showroom was designed by Suh Architects, who used 36 kilometres of steel pipes and anodised steel panels to create the exterior architecture. The dealership features an auto library, a kids’ lounge, a car-tuning lounge, a gallery and a café . Hyundai Motor will expand its flagship brand showroom in other global cities starting with one in Moscow, Russia in the second half of this year.
