Marque celebrates top dealers

Double delight for Ingham Hyundai as it scoops two gongs, including Overall Dealer of the Year.

Staff at Ingham Hyundai are celebrating after the business was named the marque’s Dealer of the Year for the second year in a row.

The Hamilton-based dealership, pictured above, took out the top prize and also won the Service Dealer of the Year category in the 2021 awards handed out by Hyundai Motors New Zealand (HMNZ).

“Every person from grooming, mechanical, customer service, management and sales has contributed to this result,” posted Ingham Hyundai on Facebook.

“Having such a committed and cohesive team makes Ingham Hyundai a place we all love coming to every morning, and hopefully reflects in the same way as a place our customers love visiting and feeling welcomed in.”

Greg Renner, dealer principal at Ingham Hyundai and Hyundai Taupo, was delighted at the results, with Hyundai Taupo also being named Finance & Insurance Dealer of the Year.

“I want to thank all of our wonderful staff for their efforts in the last 12 months,” he wrote on LinkedIn.

“I also want to recognise the hard work and effort of all the HMNZ staff in what has been some extremely challenging times.”

HMNZ this year held a virtual awards ceremony as it celebrated the top performers from across its network on December 15, with other categories covering marketing, parts, sales and customer experience.
