HSV models join NZ dealership
Manukau dealership Davie Motors Holden has added the HSV Colorado Sportscat and the Chevrolet Camaro and Silverado models to its range of new cars.
HSV New Zealand regional manager Andrew Lamb said Davie Motors was chosen as a new HSV dealer based on a range of considerations.
“We felt the Manukau location, excellent facilities and professional customer focused staff would make a great complement to the outstanding HSV network already in place in New Zealand,” said Lamb.
“While we had a large number of Holden dealers in Australia and New Zealand apply for the HSV franchise, Davie Motors Holden was one of only two additional dealers in NZ to be selected.”
Davie Motors dealer principal Andrew Collett said his team were excited to add the HSV models to the range of new vehicles available to their customers.
“There is no doubt HSV has a great reputation for innovation and technical achievement and their treatment of these new models is really very exciting,” said Collett.
The Colorado SportsCat will be the first HSV vehicle to land at Davie Holden later this month. The 2.8-litre four-cylinder diesel comes with the choice of a six-speed manual or automatic transmission and is available in four variants including the SportsCat+ featuring increased ride height and new exterior styling features to give the ute a more aggressive look.
Davie Motors Holden is excited to also receive the first of the new Chevrolet performance vehicles in 2019.
The 6.2-litre GenV LT1 V8 Camaro 2SS Coupe is destined for New Zealand in early 2019. The direct fuel-injection and VVT eight-speed auto engine will deliver 339kW of power and 617Nm of torque while 20-inch alloys will ensure the muscle car makes a bold statement on New Zealand roads.
Completing the HSV line-up, the heavy-duty Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD truck range will also be available from Davie Motors Holden with the first unit being delivered before Christmas. The five model line-up boasts impressive performance attributes including a Duramax 6.6-litre turbo diesel V8 engine, six-speed automatic transmission and a maximum towing capability of up to 5.987 tonnes.

The HSV range is available to pre-order from Davie Motors Holden at Manukau and will be officially on sale from Monday, January 3, 2019.
