GWM tackles agri-event
GWM New Zealand is creating an immersive “GWM Sales Stadium” experience for visitors to its site at Fieldays this week.
The Chinese marque says it is building on the success of its partnership with the One New Zealand Warriors and the “Wahs Selling Cars” platform for the agricultural event at Mystery Creek Events Centre from June 10-13.
Its site will also reinforce GWM’s “Go Local. Grow More.” focus, highlighting the importance of investing in local partnerships, supporting regional communities and building stronger connections with Kiwi customers.
GWM will have a large indoor showroom experience at Fieldays alongside an outdoor demonstration area, including a league field, stadium seating area, jumbotron screen, and towing challenge to showcase the abilities of the GWM range.
The activation will also feature appearances from former Warriors players and personalities, including new GWM sales manager Monty Betham and Jerry Seuseu, who is the club’s wellbeing coach.
Cameron Thomas, GWM’s NZ country manager, says being at Fieldays reflects the growing strength of the brand in New Zealand and the importance of connecting with customers through partnerships.
“Fieldays is one of the most important events on the New Zealand calendar for us,” he adds.
“It provides an incredible platform to connect directly with Kiwis, showcase our growing range, and continue building strong relationships through partnerships that genuinely resonate with New Zealand audiences.”
Thomas notes GWM was among New Zealand’s top five sellers for new vehicles and the leading Chinese automotive brand in April, describing it as a significant achievement for its team, dealer network and customers.
“Fieldays is the perfect opportunity to celebrate that momentum while showing people exactly where the GWM brand is heading,” he says.
As part of its Fieldays celebrations, GWM NZ has a range of exclusive offers, including up to $4,000 worth of free accessories with every GWM Cannon, pictured, purchased and a zero-deposit, three-month deferred payment across the range.
There’s also 50 units of the limited-edition Cannon XSR, exclusive “Wahs” number plates for the first six vehicle purchases during the event and the chance to land a “money-can’t-buy” GWM Ultimate Park-Up Sideline experience at a Warriors home game.
